  Although there were 4 crossings noted for Wednesdays on their website, when we got there for the first crossing of the day at 10.30 am we were told that the only crossing back from Santiago de la Ribera would be at 1.30pm. This would only give us just over 2 hours to do what we wanted. Their excuse was that the sea was a bit choppy. The sea was slightly choppy, but not enough to stop the other services. It was a beautiful cloudless warm day! I can understand that being January there are not so many tourists around to fill their ferry, but then they should amend their winter timetable accordingly. If you decide to use this ferry in winter make sure to ask when they will be coming back!
